Josie

Josie started in optics while living in England in 2005. Her favorite part of working in optics is seeing people (especially kids) putting on their first pair of glasses and being able to see clearly for the first time. Per Josie, “It truly warms my heart.” She also loves when people break out of their comfort zone and get a fun, new look! And if you let her know about all of the compliments you’ve gotten, she’ll love it even more. Josie enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, cat, and six siblings watching movies and playing video games.
She is a native Oregonian and has lived in Portland since 2004 minus a year abroad. After she came back to Portland for school, she decided to stay because she loved it and never wanted to leave!
