I went in for an eye exam and new frames a couple of weeks ago and had a great experience. I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day, the office looks good and the desk ladies were hilarious. Dr. Shin was also very nice and made sure that I understood everything he was telling me about my eye health. The frame selection is also very "hip". Although the experience was very good, I forgot to write a review. What drove me to give such a great review was my experience from earlier today. Long story short, my 2 year old got poked in the eye with a stick and it looked bad--parents worst nightmare. I called their number to ask if this was something I should bring her in to see Dr. Shin or her normal pediatrician. I had been seen before, but my daughter was a new patient. This all happened at 5:00pm on a Monday. They were able to take my information over the phone and told me to come right in and that they would make sure she was seen. When we arrived, my heart sank because the office was very busy. However, they were true to their word and were able to see her. My daughter is very shy and does NOT like very many people. Dr. Shin was amazing with her and had her allowing him to exam her eye in no time. He was very reassuring and didn't make me feel silly for rushing her in when she did not in fact have any damage to her eye.
